- One, free, no obligation, prenatal consultation/interview, in which we get to know each, discuss what you envision for your birth, and decide if we are a good match
- Two prenatal visits. At these visits we will create a birth plan, go over basic comfort measures, discuss how best to achieve your birthing goals, and discuss any other questions or concerns you may have.
- Access via phone and email during pregnancy and postpartum
- 24 hour on call beginning at 38 weeks
- Continuous physical, emotional, and informational support during labor and birth
- Help establishing breast feeding immediately following the birth
- Pictures/ video with your phone or camera or my phone upon request (please note that these will not be professional quality photos)
- One postpartum meeting. At this meeting I will check in to see how breast feeding is going, and how you are doing with the transition during the postpartum period. I will offer support and resources if needed. We will also discuss and process the labor and birth.
- Resources and referrals
*I strongly believe that any woman who wants a doula should have one, regardless of ability to pay. If you would like to hire a doula, but can not afford one, please contact me. We may be able to work out an option that is affordable for you.
**Discount offered to clients having a home birth or birth center birth
Add On - $150 each
- Birth Story- I will write out your birth story from my point of view. I typically write this as a letter to baby. This makes a great keepsake for both mom and baby. Often during labor we forget or miss many of the details, so it is helpful to have a written record of all that happened from another person present.
- Refresher Childbirth Education Course- This course is great for moms who are not first time parents, but would benefit from a quick refresher on the basics of labor phases and stages and comfort measures. This class is about two hours, and it can be attached to our prenatal visits.
